SDHL's superior series leader HV71 had a total of 17-0 in goal difference this season against Linköping ahead of tonight's fourth match between the teams.

But it became much tougher when the team met in Östergötland tonight.

HV leads the series big

It was admittedly HV71 that was the game-leading team right from the start, but Linköping was the team that scored the first two goals via two quick turnarounds.

But in the second period, HV showed why they lead the series with a full 16 points before the Luleå series two.

Several chances

They scored three goals in the course of just over six minutes, and then never gave Linköping any receipt.

However, the home team did not miss any chances. Among other things, they had two post shots, and a couple of free positions. But also HV71 created a number of chances, chances that Eveliina Suonpää played well in the LHC goal.

- I think this victory was more important than we think. Exactly this to create good habits ... Today we do not. Meeting a good goalkeeper in this way can ruin your self-confidence if you don't get the puck, we can learn from that, says HV coach Joakim Engström to SVT Sport.

"Good hockey game"

Good also played Alba Gonzalo, who replaced Lina van Noort in the HV goal after the two LHC goals.

- We make a good hockey match for 60 minutes. We have bid for more goals, we have both post and rib hits. Even if you are angry now, we make a good hockey match, says Linköping's coach Madeleine Östling.
