The Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri is Sevilla's new player for the next five and a half seasons , until June 2025, after having closed the Andalusian club his signing with Leganés , his previous team, and with the footballer, at the expense of the result of the mandatory medical examination.

Sevilla announced Thursday the signing of En-Nesyri, which will sign its new contract when it passes medical tests, and although the Sevilla organization has not specified the figures for the operation, sources of the negotiation indicated that it will pay an amount close to 20 million euros , the amount of its termination clause.

Sevilla's new attacker (Fez, June 1, 1997) accumulates, despite his youth ( 22 years ), twenty-one games with the Moroccan national team, with which he has scored six goals, one of them in his debut in the last World Cup, against Spain, and the last one last November against Burundi.

Formed in the Mohammed VI Academy of his country, En-Nesyri arrived at the Málaga quarry with 18 years, in the 2015-16 campaign, and debuted with his first team in 2017-18, in which he had a great role in the first phase of LaLiga until its march to the African Cup, with 15 games played -13 league and two Cups- and somewhat scored.

In the following season he established himself in the first malaguista team, with 26 matches -one of Copa- and four goals scored, after which he played the World Cup in Russia and, with the decline of Malaga to Second, he was transferred to Leganés, with a balance of 15 goals in 53 shocks played in the last year and a half.

Last season he played 31 League games and three Cup games with the Pepinero team, with 9 and 2 goals scored, respectively, and he had four goals in eighteen League games today - he only lost the match against Mallorca - and one of the cupper tournament.

The incorporation of En-Nesyri, which could debut on Saturday at Santiago Bernabéu if coach Julen Lopetegui sees it opportune, palliates the casualties in attack by Sevilla in this winter market, with the transfer of the Israeli Munas Dabbur to the German Hoffenheim and the imminent March of Mexican Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández to Los Angeles Galaxy.
