Reach Michael statue Unveiled at the alma mater in Sapporo Donated by himself 13:36 on January 16

Reach Michael, the Japanese national captain who played in the Rugby World Cup last year, donated a statue of his design to his high school in Sapporo, Japan, and was presented to all students.

Reach from New Zealand studied in Japan from high school and spent three years at Sapporo Yamate High School in Sapporo.

After the opening ceremony on the 16th, a statue donated by Reach was presented in front of all the students. The students gave applause when they received a video message from Reach, saying "Thank you for your support. Please take care of the reach image."

The statue was presented to a reach player by a company, and is almost the same size as a reach player measuring 1 centimeters and 89 centimeters, depicting a figure rushing with a ball.

Rugby club former captain Kimiya Harada said, "I was impressed when I saw it raw. I want everyone to work hard to be a wonderful player like Reach."

The statue of Reach will be displayed at the entrance of the school in the future, and will be moved under the cherry tree on the ground where the rugby club will practice in the spring.
