Luleå recruits national team forwards

Phoebe Staenz, 26, joins Luleå after the national team break in February.

- It feels great fun to have this opportunity to end the season together with Luleå Hockey / MSSK and to play hockey in Sweden again, she says to the club's website.

Phoebe Staenz played the 2017-2018 season in SDE when she scored 26 points (18 + 8) in 35 games. With Switzerland, the forward has played several Olympic and World Cup tournaments.

- Phoebe Staenz is an energy player with goals and because she wants to play straight and with a lot of speed we feel that she will fit in well with our team before the end of the season. We have had a discussion with her for a long time, so it feels great that we have now been able to find a solution, says the sports manager and coach Mikael Forsberg.
