Spaniard Kiki Seitan has signed a two-and-a-half-year Barcelona training contract until June 30, 2022, and the coach - coming from the Cantabria region (northern Spain) - succeeded Ernesto Valverde, who was sacked at dawn today.

The former Real Betis coach is not from the first rank in the world of coaches, and for this we publish ten things that many football fans do not do for the coach (61 years):

- He started his sports career as a beach soccer player, and he was part of the Spanish national team.

- He played 12 years with Racing Santander (in two shifts), as he coached him in the 2001-2002 season and led him to the first degree, and he was one of the team's icons, and he is called the "Maestro".

- The third coach of Barca from the Autonomous Cantabria region, after Enrique Orizula (1961) and Orano Ruiz (1976).

- Sittin Barcelona faced a player 22 times; he lost 12 of them, won five and drew equal, and scored two goals against Barca. Cittin faced Barcelona seven times as a coach; he lost six, winning one in Camp Nou last season.

- He played for several teams in his career in stadiums: Racing Santander, Atletico Madrid, Logrones and Levante.

- Coach Racing Santander, Poli Echido, Logronis, Lego, Las Palas and Real Betis.

- In one of his previous visits to Camp Nou, the Blaugrana midfielder Sergio Busquets gave him his shirt and wrote on it "To Kiki with Love and Appreciation of Your Football Vision".

- Citin coached several players who were in the ranks of Barca, Cabtera, Captom, Tello, Sanabria, Arrigo and Kevin-Prince Boateng.

- Citin usually praises Lionel Messi, describing him as "a first-rate player and the best player in history", the last time he was after the Barca-Betis match in the last stronghold of last season.

- He has a passion for chess, and confronts the two former world champions in the game Anatoly Karabov and Gary Kasparov.
