Youth Olympic medals show off Shortly before opening in Switzerland 20:39 on January 9

The medal of the tournament was presented at the IOC headquarters before the youth Olympics, where young athletes competed, were set to open soon in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The third Winter Youth Olympics will begin in Lausanne, Switzerland on the 10th of Japan time, with more than 1,800 young athletes from 79 countries and regions participating in the competition.

Prior to the opening, the IOC headquarters in Lausanne presented the medal of the tournament, and the New Zealand artist Zakia Page, who invented the design, was handed a medal by IOC President Bach.

Mr. Page was quiet and missed the selection because he applied for a medal design for the Summer Youth Olympics held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but this was his second challenge.

"I advised the players to never give up, but he embodies the never giving up. I hope you enjoy the tournament," said Bach.

Mr. Page said, "We support the success of young players around the world. It is very exciting to imagine that they can win this medal."

The opening ceremony of the Lausanne Youth Olympics is held on the 10th of Japan time, and the competition will be held for 13 days. There will be 72 athletes from Japan, including both men and women, the largest number for the Winter Youth Olympic Games.
