Rika Kihira, a figure skater, departed for the U.S. on September 9 to hold a training camp for the Four Continents Championships and the World Championships.

Kihei, a 17-year-old from Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, has participated in the Grand Prix Final held last month for two consecutive years, and has achieved stable results, including winning the first All-Japan Championship.

Next month, I plan to compete in the Four Continents Championship in Korea and the World Championships in Canada in March, and interviewed Osaka Airport before departure for advance training camp in Colorado, USA .

Kihei was keen to say, "I plan to practice a variety of exercises such as playing a song, jumping four times, and triple axel, and want to finish it for the Four Continents Championship."

He also wrote "Challenge and stability" on colored paper as his ambition and said, "I want to challenge high jumps and aim for a high score.

Kihei will return home at the end of this month and continue to make adjustments for the Four Continents Championship.
