It will be John Hynes, 44, who will take over Nashville. He most recently comes from a head coach assignment in the New Jersey Devils that he got fired from in early December.

- John Hynes is a young and smart coach who has experience developing young talented players and motivating experienced players. We are impressed with his resume and are convinced that he learned from his stops during his career. We believe he will reach the full potential of our team, ”says Nashville's GM David Poile to the club's website.
