Liverpool , the current European champion and leading English Premier League leader, announced on Tuesday a "multi-year" agreement with Nike to be its official clothing supplier since June 1.

The club did not reveal financial details of the agreement, but the English press figures the agreement around 80 million pounds annually (about 94 million euros ) for the Liverpool coffers.

Nike, which will replace New Balance as a supplier of the club, will produce game uniforms, training and travel clothing, and will also equip the quarry teams, the coaching staff and the Liverpool FC Foundation.

"As a brand, Nike reflects our growth ambitions, and we look forward to working with them to offer fans new and exciting products," Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan said in a statement.
