Liverpool Football Club announced today, Tuesday, the signing of a contract with Nike Sportswear and Sportswear, which will continue for "several years" starting next season, despite the team's victories with New Balance, which provides the team with sportswear.

Liverpool said on its website: "Liverpool is pleased to announce the contract with Nike Sportswear to provide the team with the new season jersey (2020-2021)."

Beginning in June 2020, the American company will start manufacturing Liverpool play and training sets for the new season.

"Our teams are a special part of our history and identity. We welcome Nike in the Liverpool family as a brand, Nike reflects our ambitions to grow, and we look forward to working with them to expand our fan base," said Liverpool managing director Billy Hogan.
