Ki Sung-yong (32), who rarely had the chance to play in England's New Football, was on the ground in three months.

Ki Sung-Yong was substituted for Mutoh Yoshinori in the second eight minutes in the third round of the England Football Association (FA) Cup match against Rochdale at Rochdale's Crown Oil Arena.

Ki Sung-yong has been in the game for three months since the Premier League match against Leicester City last September 30.

Ki Sung-yong, who scored his third appearance at the time, lost his place in the team afterwards and rarely even made his name on the list.

However, Ki Sung-yong, who was on the replacement list for the first time in the day, stepped into the ground as his first replacement card after Mutoh was injured in the second eight minutes, one to zero.

However, even after Ki Sung-yong's move, Newcastle suffered Rochdale's counterattack, but struck equally in the 34th minute by Aaron Wilburham.

Ki Sung-yong scored the final goal with a sharp right-footed long-range shot from the right of the penalty arc in the second half of the 45th minute, but slid upward.

In the end, Newcastle, who won a one-on-one fight, will play Rochdale again.
