Östersunds FK has been given the green light for the Swedish game 2020 - but the journey goes on without the team's star Dino Islamovic.

The 25-year-old is ready for Norwegian Rosenborg, something that ÖFK confirms on its website.

“We are delighted that Dino has now found a top club in the Nordic region that often plays in Europe and which belongs to the largest clubs in Norway. Dino has done a fantastic job in ÖFK and helped us during the past season in a really good way, ”says Östersund coach Ian Burchnall in a statement.

Islamovic came to Östersund two years ago and during his time at the club has scored 16 goals in 50 all-Swedish matches. The contract with Rosenborg is valid for three years.

Due to weak finances, Östersund was first not granted elite license for the 2020 season, a decision that was subsequently changed after the club took the matter forward to the Swedish Football Association's Board of Appeal
