Arturo Vidal would have denounced FC Barcelona, his current team, for a default of 2.4 million euros as a bonus for last season, according to the newspaper 'ABC' on Friday.

According to this information, Vidal would have filed such a complaint with the Mixed Commission of LaLiga and the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE). The Chilean would be claiming those 2.4 million "in terms of variables that he said were reached last season and that have not yet been paid."

"The Barça club considers, however, that it is not for them to pay this amount and that the player makes a bad interpretation of the clauses of his contract," adds the 'ABC'. The complaint would be dated December 5, 2019 and would attend to the perception of money "if 60% of the official games played" during the 2018/19 academic year.

Vidal considers that he must receive half of this bonus, since he disputed half of the agreed figure, but the Blaugrana entity believes that he is exempt from paying. From the text of the complaint, 'ABC' emphasizes that "the aggregate total of the preceding amounts amounts to 4,097,500 euros" and that "to date, and specifically on the payroll of June 2019, Barcelona has only paid the amount of 1,693,000 euros gross as prizes for titles ".

In addition, this controversy of Vidal with Barça comes a few days before the winter transfer market opens. The Italian press underscore Inter's alleged interest in signing the Chilean, which still counts for the plans of his coach Ernesto Valverde .
