The tributes to Nils Höglander's goals in the JVM premiere against Finland did not wait.

- It's totally sick. Nice to be on the same team this time around, teammate Alexander Holtz tells SVT.

The union captain Tomas Montén commented on the goal in SVT.

- He has done it before, but I still do not understand. You don't think it will succeed and work at this level, he says.

- We had a powerplay, and that gave him a little more surface, and got the opportunity to walk with the puck, but yes it is fantastic cool.

"Trust in myself"

Canadian sports site TSN writes on Twitter:

"Nils Höglander may have made the nicest goal in the history of the Junior World Cup."

The Vancouver Sun describes the goal as "absolutely incredible" and also writes that Höglander places himself as a big favorite for the tournament's goals.

Goal scorer Nils Höglander took it easy.

- I trusted myself that I could do it, so it was fun. It is always fun to do it in the national jersey too, he tells SVT.
