Luleå and Frölunda will meet four times in one month (two in SHL and two in the CHL playoffs). In the first, which was played a week ago, it was grumpy and the match contained only one goal that came in the last minute.

Tonight it was a different match picture, but once again it was in the final stage that the decision was made. With six minutes left to play, Niklas Olausson found the net 2-1 and directly on the ensuing draw Luleå won the puck and Erik Gustafsson found Einar Emanuelsson on the offensive blue line, who stepped past the frölund backers, rounded the goal and put the nail in the coffin.

- I don't think so much. Erik hits the pass and I just try to keep the puck from their back (Viktor Ekbom) and then I just try to walk around and their goalkeeper probably falls a little. It was very nice to be able to make that goal.

Frölunda had many chances in numerical superiority, but coach Roger Rönnberg was critical of how the team handled those situations.

- I don't like our powerplay at all today. We do everything except take the puck towards goals. It looks like we are looking for Ryan Lasch and he was not present today. It is sad that we do not step forward and take greater initiatives.

Frölunda's star, especially when it comes to powerplay, was not included in today's match due to an imminent foot injury.
