With five straight three-pointers in the back, self-confidence was at the top in Färjestad ahead of Monday's away game against Rögle.

But in the Catena arena, the Karlstad team was brought down to earth again.

Rögles goalkeeper Roman Will nailed again completely back - and finally got to see his team decide in game three against three after 60 scoreless regular minutes.

Match Winner? Ted Brithén who managed a pass from Leon Bristedt in the best way when he rounded goalkeeper Markus Svensson and put 1-0 - just 49 seconds into the extension.

- Fun to see it go in, says the goalie to C More and continues:

- I did not know what to do. I'm not very good at goalies, but most of all I was just happy. It is wonderful. The crowd is absolutely amazing today, even though they tend to be the every match.

Färjestads coach Johan Pennerborn to C More after the match:

- In the end, it's a relatively smooth story. We have a situation in two against one just before (the 1-0 goal) but cannot decide. Then I think we hook into each other before they get the chance in two against each other.

Färjestad still leads SHL by a two-point margin down to Luleå, which will receive Frölunda later this evening.
