This weekend Liverpool was voted the world's best club team after the victory in the club team World Cup. And not many people are questioning it this year, today there were three new points after 4-0 against the league two Leicester and consolidate the series lead by 13 points down to today's opponents.

The match started with rolling games with chances in both directions but after just over half an hour, Trent Alexander-Arnold dotted another on Roberto Firmino who nodded 1-0. Just after the goal, Mané got a free-kick but Kasper Schmeichel of the Leicester cage got the ball straight.

Trent Alexander-Arnold involved in everything ahead

It would take until the second half before Liverpool found the nets again. Once again, Trent Alexander-Arnold was involved when he hit the arm at Caglar Söyüncü and Liverpool were awarded a penalty. Then James Milner stepped in and, as usual, was the safety himself from eleven yards when he sat there 2-0.

Firma Firmino / Alexander-Arnold was also behind 3-0 when Firmino, after a brilliant reception, was able to throw the ball into the cross after a clever post by Alexander-Arnold. Ytterbacken would also score the fantastic effort with a goal when he got the ball just outside the penalty area in a flashing counter-attack. Alexander-Arnold struck with a lovely stretched ankle and the ball drilled into the far corner behind a scoreless Schmeichel.

Liverpool are leading the league by 13 points, and right now there is little to suggest that it will be anything but a long-awaited Premier League title for the Liverpool Red.
