Al Hamriyah Sports and Cultural Club announced that it is known for its triathlon sport, making it the first club in the Emirates to be officially recognized.

This came after the meeting that included the Emirates Triathlon Association and the Al Hamriya Administration, during which they discussed working on publicizing the triathlon sport in the club to support the UAE sport's march in the triathlon.

The meeting took place in the presence of the General Secretary of the Association, Abdul Malik Jani, and two members of the Board of Directors, Asmaa Yusef Al Janahi and Ahmed Al Shamsi, and the Society's Hassan Al Aqili, while the club was represented by Chairman of the Board Jumaa Obaid Al Shamsi and Secretary General Ammar Ali Al Muhairi.

In turn, Chairman of the Al Hamriya Club, Juma Al Shamsi, told Emirates Today: “The Al Hamriya Club will become the first club to officially announce the game, and this matter gives us great pleasure and this decision comes in accordance with the directions of Sharjah Sports Council and the club’s strategy to develop individual games.” He continued: “Our club It has an infrastructure that contributes to the development of triathlon in addition to the presence of runners, swimmers and riders at a high level and from the owners of accomplishments, thus the elements of the game have been completed and we look forward to success on the competitive level.

In turn, Abdul-Malik Jani said: "We look forward to this game being announced in other clubs in the various emirates of the country, in a way that contributes to the establishment of competitions for them and pave the way for the development of competitive returns for the triathlon of the Emirates."

In turn, Asma Al-Janahi confirmed that the triathlon publicity in Hamriyah will lead the club's players to participate in the triathlon Al-Hudriyat in late January, which is the qualifying race for the national team for the triathlon, which paves the way for another possibility represented in the World Championship to be held in Abu Dhabi in March 2020.
