The Swedish women's juniors today started the hunt to repeat the company from last year, when the team reached the final for the first time.

In the first group game match, Sweden was placed against the home team Slovakia. After a scoreless first period everything dropped in the second, where Sweden went from 3-0.

Linnea Johansson, who missed last year's tournament because of an injury, opened the goal shooter and also had an assist point to Elin Svensson's 2-0 goal. And after Hanna Thuvik made it 3-0, it looked pretty comfortable.

But with four minutes remaining, Ella Albinsson drew on an expulsion in which Slovakia reduced on the subsequent numerical overlay. And eight seconds from the end came the next reduction, but then it was time for a button and Sweden could hold off.

Victory in the premiere and tomorrow, the Czech Republic is waiting, starting at 16.30.
