Ebba Andersson made a comeback yesterday after the knee injury that kept her away from the World Cup so far this season. She did so in a sprint competition in the Scandic Cup in Östersund, and finished in third place.

Today it was time for the first distance race since the comeback. And then things went well.

Opened for the Tour de Ski

She won by far, a whole 1.54.3 ahead of Moa Molander Kristiansen - who finished last season at an impressive 13 place in the Tour de Ski.

Now it remains to be seen if Andersson will make a national team comeback already in the Tour de Ski next week. Yesterday she opened up for a start there.

- It's something we have to make an assessment of after this weekend. This has been the preliminary goal and right now I'm charging for tomorrow's leap, she said yesterday to SVT Sport.
