After skiing orientation and skiing, it is now ski tourism that Tove Alexandersson chooses as winter-season sports. Today it was the World Cup debut in Aussois in the French Alps. Alexandersson talked to SVT Sport ahead of yesterday's debut:
- Everything is completely new to me so this season I want to learn as much as possible so I can be better for the next season. "I have developed a lot during the preseason, but then I also notice that I have a lot to learn," said Alexandersson.
But despite much to learn, Alexandersson stood for an impressive fifth place in the new sport and became the best Swedish, just over 20 seconds ahead of Fanny Borgström.
Alexandersson came in at 1:21:07 and was one minute and 27 seconds behind Frenchman Axelle Gachet Mollaret.
