The European Union of Football Association (UEFA) announced today, Thursday, the figures related to the revenues of the Champions League during the 2018-2019 season, and the mechanism of its distribution to the clubs that participated in the tournament.

UEFA stated that more than 1.976 billion euros were distributed from the Federation to the clubs that participated in the Champions League last season, compared to 1.412 billion euros in the 2017-2018 season.

He pointed out that this increase reflects the impact of the distribution mechanisms applied in the new trade cycle of the Champions League between 2018 and 2021.

UEFA explained that the minimum revenue for one team against playing in the group stage was 14.5 million euros, compared to 12.7 million in the previous season, while additional rewards were distributed in the group stage with a value of 2.7 million euros for victory and 900,000 euros for a draw.

The qualification reward for the final round was 9.5 million euros, compared to 6 million in the previous season. The finalists got 10.5 million euros, while the semi-finalists got 12 million.

As for Liverpool, which crowned the title, it won 19 million euros, while Tottenham and runners-up champion got 15 million.
