The football club Dösjöbro's future is in danger, after the presentation of Malmö FF's new women's team squad. Of 18 players in Malmö, 13 have been picked up from Dösjöbro, as well as coach Fredrik Jahnfors.

The club is housed in the small Dösjebro in Skånska Kävlinge municipality.

Dösjöbro had a strong season and was close to reaching the elite earlier this fall, according to Radio Sports. But now there are no players left, as those players who did not end up in Malmö FF have chosen to go to other clubs.

-It's clear that it's hard, I want to be very happy that we are not disappointed with any individual girl or coach. What has happened has happened, and it affects us immensely, says Magnus Westin to Radio Sports.

"Need help from Malmö"

He says he had expected to lose four to five players, but he could not dream that there were so many players who would go to the newly started club and start in Division 4.

-I have met the sports manager (Daniel Andersson in Malmö FF) and talked to the CEO (Niclas Carlnén) And I have explained our situation and said that this is hitting us very hard. I have said that we need help to save our women's team, we need support from Malmö's side. We are discussing different possibilities, but nothing is clear, Westin tells Radio Sports.

The press release sent by Malmö FF states that eleven players come from Dösjöbro, but two more that are reportedly connected to Trelleborg moved according to the Radio Sport to Dösjöbro in November.
