Luleå is acknowledged strong at the end of the games. They have shown them several times during the fall, including one against Jämtland in November where they again took 20 points in the final period and turned the match into victory.

Today they made sure to stave off the Södertälje table fire during the final ten minutes of the match at home.

The match was perfectly smooth after 30 minutes of play, but when it came to deciding the home team's stars stepped forward.

"Proud that we can win"

Above all, Americans Quinton Upshur and Brandon Rozzell became tongue in cheek when Luleå went from 61-61 to 85-78 victory. Upshur got the best score with 24 and Rozzell second best with 22. Rozzell also took seven rebounds.

Thus, the home team took revenge from the last meeting where Södertälje won.

- I think we did a lot of what we wanted. We wanted Upshur and Rozzell to score less. They are a team that shoots a lot of threes so you have to be on the chop all the time and bring down the tempo, says Södertäljes Martin Pahlmblad.

"Incredibly nice"

Luleå is now back as series leader at 26 points.

- It's incredibly nice. We have talked a lot about the physical struggle and are really fighting through today. I think we have shown in many matches that we can tie the bag together when it is even at the end. I am proud that we can come again and win, says Luleås Axel Nordström to SVT Sport.
