The English club Liverpool played its first training session in preparation for the start of its career in the Club World Cup under way in the Qatari capital, Doha.

German coach Juergen Klopp led the team's first training session in Doha on Monday evening, a day after the club's mission arrived in Qatar to participate in the World Cup clubs.

Attention was drawn to the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who showed his distinctive smile during the training that took place at the Qatar University stadium, and opened to the media for a limited time.

Although the training took place far from the eyes of the fans, a group of fans and representatives of the Liverpool Club Association in Qatar registered their presence near the training site to express their support for the English club and celebrate the star Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool is preparing to face the Mexican club Monterrey in the Club World Cup semi-finals at Khalifa Stadium tomorrow, Wednesday.

The match is expected to take place with a large crowd, after most tickets were out during a record period, after it was presented earlier.
