German club coach Jurgen Klopp opposed the idea of changing the pattern of the Champions League.
UEFA has proposed a comprehensive overhaul of the Champions League group stage by turning it into a 32-team tournament.
Klopp emphasized that the idea of increasing the number of Champions League matches is "useless."
"I see that some of the top clubs want more matches in the Champions League, and I am not interested in that, because it is just nonsense."
Club believes that European clubs already have a schedule packed with matches, and that it makes no sense for clubs to wear more clubs.
Klopp directed his officials, "Do you love seeing us suffer, no one cares, but we will do what we have to do and we will continue to be positive."
