Liverpool celebrated the extension of James Milner's contract for two years, and also celebrated the goal scored by top scorer Sadio Mane against Watford in the Premier League heels last season.

Reds coach Jurgen Klopp expressed his pleasure at extending Milner's contract, describing him as an "exceptional player and person".

"I have been lucky to play for this team for four and a half years, it was a beautiful time to see this team change and develop," he said in statements to his club's official website.

"I enjoy coming to training every day and working with this group of players, coach and coaching staff, and being part of this club."

"You see amazing history here and you want to be part of that history. We have achieved some titles and want to win more" .. 🙌

Milner participated in 198 games with Liverpool, recording 25 goals as he appeared in five final matches, including the Champions League winners match last season in the Spanish capital Madrid against Tottenham.

Prior to Liverpool's Premier League match with Watford today, Saturday, round 17, the Reds official account on Twitter celebrated Sadio Mane's goal against the same team with his left foot heels last season.
