The other day, the message came that Jacob Olofsson misses JVM. Now another setback can come for the Junior crowns. Frölunda talent Lucas Raymond has visited the doctor this week and is contracted with an infection.

- He has had a viral infection that was the aftermath that is under investigation and we have no clear message today regarding his participation in JVM, says Frölunda's sports manager, Fredrik Sjöström to Hockeynews.se.

The 17-year-old has not played a match since November 28 and was forced to seek medical attention on Monday, which GT reported.

- I'm going to do new tests on Friday, so we'll see. But now I've been able to train anyway so it feels a lot better, he told GT on Wednesday.

"Close dialogue with Lucas"

Tomorrow, the Junior Crowns will gather for a training camp in Uppsala before heading to the Czech Republic on Thursday.

- Lucas has been affected by an infection that is under investigation. When and if he can join the JVM camp remains unclear, says agent Peter Werner.

- We have received the information from Frölunda and we await the investigation that is being carried out. We have a close dialogue with Lucas, ”Montén tells HockeyNews.se.

Lucas Raymond is two years younger than the oldest in the team but is already expected to be a contributing player. In addition, he, along with Djurgården's Alexander Holtz, are two top names for the summer draft.
