With the aim of inviting the Women's World Cup in 2023, the Japan Football Association submitted a proposal to the FIFA = International Football Federation on the 12th, which includes eight stadiums and camp sites that will be the venue for the game.

According to the Japan Football Association, the proposals will be held at 8 stadiums from Hokkaido to Kansai, including the Tokyo National Stadium, Sapporo Dome, and the Kyoto Stadium to be completed next year, and will be the campgrounds for each team. 42 candidate sites from Hokkaido to Okinawa were included.
The schedule is from June to July in consideration of the heat.
“We would like to explode women's football with next year's Olympics, next year's women's league professionalization, and the hosting of the World Cup,” said Japan Football Association President Kozo Tajima.
The venue for the 2023 Women's World Cup is scheduled for May next year.
