After the group play, Sweden now has three matches in the main round. The loss to Russia in the group finals means that the Swedes "only" take two points and the loss to Spain most likely extinguishes the dreams of a semi-final place.

Spain won their group unbeaten and has convinced big. Last year at the European Championships the team won only one match of six possible.

“I am a little surprised, but above all, impressed by their game,” says union captain Henrik Signell. They have a frame with a number of experienced players who have been for a while now that got it together really well.

What speaks for you?

- That we have higher potential than we showed towards Russia. That we are revengeful and want to show that we can do better. We will sell ourselves dearly and I think we will win, says Signell.
