Even before the race, SVT's expert Anders Blomquist noted:

- If Johaug had to design a runway, it would look like this. It is tailor made for her. She will be busing today.

And bus fare went there.

Johaug opened as a steam locomotive and was in the lead from start to finish. Already after four kilometers she had 20 seconds down to the competitors, a lead she just wiped out.

Cold best Swedish

The world's best cross-country skier scored 42.35.3 and was over one minute ahead of second-placed Jessica Diggins from the United States. Trean Heidi Weng was 1.19 behind Johaug.

- It would have been fun to see Ebba Andersson if she got started, or a healthy Frida Karlsson in the back. But when they are not and the others are not in super shape, it is a man on the plane, says Blomquist.

Charlotte Kalla became the best Swedish in sixth place, but was over one and a half minutes behind Johaug. Moa Lundgren finished ninth.
