Shiffrin near win the downhill race in Lake Louise - passed in the final hang

Schmidhofer waited in the leader's seat in the finish lap in sunny Lake Louise, Lindsey Vonn's favorite hill in Canada, when Shiffrin challenged heavily in the competition with a long ride. Schmidhofer was out in 1.49.92 - 0.13 before Shiffrin.

Norwegian Kajsa Vickhoff Lie was on the way to a giant bark and led with 0.47 halfway in the track from start number 21 but had lost the lead when she drove out at the end.
