Luleå Hockey led three times in the summit after goals by Isac Brännström, Niklas Olausson and Einar Emanuelsson. Färjestad came back three times and with just over five minutes left of the match, Färjestad took the lead for the first time in the match. The then Luleå Hockey had a pending expulsion. Instead of powerplay, Gustav Rydahl took the puck and alone with three Luleå defenders he could put the 4-3 puck from a narrow angle.

Broke Luleå's profit suite

Luleå pressed on, but Färjestad was able to hold out and win by 3-4.

The loss was Luleå Hockey's first after seven straight wins in SHL. Ferjestad built on its profit suite as it is now up to four straight wins.

With the victory, Färjestad rises to second place with 49 points. Luleå still tops the table with recorded 50 points.
