Qatari player Akram Afif is taking a video on the social media sites on the streets of Doha after the Saudi Green team beat Al-Annabi 1-0 in the Gulf Cup semi-final yesterday (Gulf 24).

The video, posted by Saudi player Hattan Bahabri on his Instagram page, shows the Saudi striker and Afif, the best player in Asia, as well as another player from the Saudi team as they prepare for a tour of the Qatari player.

The friendliness of the three players was evident, as Afif Bahbari congratulated his qualification for the final of the tournament, and he wished the Saudi team to win the Gulf title for the fourth time in his career.

The match - which will take place on Sunday at 8 pm Doha time at the "Abdullah bin Khalifa" stadium in Al-Duhail Club - will be the first final to bring together Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in the history of the Arab Gulf Cup championships.

The Bahraini team qualified for the final for the first time in its history, after it snatched the card to qualify by beating Iraq on a penalty shootout 5-3 after the end of the original and additional time, with a 2-2 positive tie.

As for the Saudi national team, it has already qualified for the Gulf Cup final four times, to be the fifth time, as it managed to win the title three times (the years 1994, 2002 and 2003).
