Egyptian football pair Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet and Ahmed Al-Mohammadi made Aston Villa players the history of the Premier League on Wednesday.

This came after Trezeguet scored a goal against Chelsea in the confrontation that ended with the latter's 2-1 win in round 15 of the local competition.

Trezeguet scored Aston Villa's only goal after a cross from compatriot Mohammadi.

Thus, this goal is the first in the history of the English league, which comes with the feet of pure Egyptian industry and recording.

The last period of the Premier League has seen the presence of several Egyptian duels, most notably Hossam Ghali and Ahmed Hossam (Mido) in Tottenham, Mido and Amr Zaki in Wigan Athletic, Ahmed Fathi and Mohamed Naji Gedo in Hull City, and Mido and Mohamed Shawki in Middlesbrough.
