Tokyo Olympic Marathon tickets are not sold Organizing Committee Dec. 4 21:17
The IOC Board of Directors approved that the starting point for the marathon and the racewalk will be “Odori Park” in the center of Sapporo, and the Organizing Committee will set up large spectator seats locally. It was revealed that the marathon tickets will not be sold because of the harshness.
Tickets purchased at the time of planning in Tokyo will be refunded in the future.
In addition, the IOC Board of Directors will advance the triathlon events one hour ahead of schedule as part of the heat countermeasures. The individual events for boys and girls will begin at 6:30 am and mixed relay will begin at 7:30 am. In cross-country, the start time of 8:30 am will be advanced and it will be approved to start between 7:30 am and 8 pm.
