The decision was made by the European Football Association Executive Committee, Uefa writes on its website.

“Today's decision is a milestone for women's soccer. The world's best women's club team tournament will receive both the platform and the space it deserves, "says Uefa's President Aleksander Ceferin.

Uefa has also set guidelines to increase the visibility of the Women's Champions League. Among other things, this is about Uefa taking over the responsibility for marketing and TV broadcasts from the group play onwards. So far, the union has only been responsible for the finals.
