After a weak start where IFK Ystad shrugged off, Kristianstad turned 7-11 to 16-11 during the second half of the first half.

One reason Kristianstad managed to keep away and win the end is goalkeeper Richard Kappelin, who had a save percentage of over 56 percent, where most and most important saves came in the second half. At one point he saved four shots in a row, one of which was a match, and it looked almost impossible to score on Kappelin.
- We are starting to get tough but after a quarter we get started. We get tired in the second half because we have to go a little short about people, says Kappelin.
