Today, the names of the four freeski skiers selected for the World Youth Olympics in Lausanne on January 9-22 were revealed.

A pleasing message from the ski association is that super talent Jennie-Lee Burmansson is back.

For SVT Sport, the 17-year-old says that she is aiming to make a comeback in the national tour Swedish Slopestyle Tour in Hemavan on December 13-15, ie next weekend.

- I'm starting up in Hemavan. It is supposed to be the first race. Then I don't know if there will be any more before the Youth Olympics, which will be my first slightly bigger competition after coming back, says Burmansson on the phone during a hole hour in school.

- It feels great to be on my way back and now I have to run a little grand before to get back tricks and such.

"Not tested big hopes"

Do you have any pain or are you completely recovered?

- The knee feels very good. Now it's more about being on the slopes and practicing. I still haven't tested any huge jumps and don't really know how my knee will react, but on what I've tested, everything has felt stable. So it feels like I'm going to do this too.

Burmansson learned to ski in April, but the first time she drove in the park was in October.

- Then I took it fairly carefully, but it felt very good right from the start and therefore I think the plan will now hold, she says.

Careful about objectives

The super talent - which is among others Sweden's youngest Olympian ever - does not want to set any big goals for the Youth Olympics.

- I don't think about investments, but rather that it would have been very fun to feel that I was going as well as I could if the injury had never happened. That I'm back for real.

You want to be careful about setting too big goals?

- Yeah, exactly, it feels smartest because I haven't tested any bigger jumps and don't really know how my knee will react to it. But so far everything feels good and I think it will last.
