Al Wahda coach Manuel Jimenez has played down the difficulty of his side's rivalry against Al Jazira on Friday evening in the Arabian Gulf Cup quarter-finals.He confirmed that he had already faced clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan and Italians and did not feel scared. He has every respect for his opponent in tomorrow's meeting and hopes to succeed in qualifying at their expense.
"In football, you don't have to be afraid of the opponent," he said at the press conference. "For me, I've been faced by clubs like Real, Barcelona and AC Milan. "They are a strong team and they have 22 players and they are all the same level."
The coach, who will play his first derby against Al-Jazira, added: "Certainly the return of the internationals will be in their interests as well and enhance their strength, but we have a good team and we have a great chance to win the result of the match. "We will miss the services of Ismail Matar and Hamdan Al Kamali out of injury, and we will consider international participation after tomorrow."
