The Swiss coinage will release a pre-sale collection of 55,000 20-franc coins (value 190 SEK) this week with Federer hitting a backhand. The total value of the collection is SEK 10.45 million, which is comparable to Federer's victory check of SEK 27.2 million from Wimbledon 2017.

- Roger Federer's sports performance, his charitable commitments, his easygoing personality and his availability to the fans have meant that the Swiss coin (Swissmint) dedicates this 20-franc coin to him. This is the first time this has happened to a living person, a ministry spokesman told Reuters.

The Mint anticipates a great deal of interest and is ready to release yet another collection of 40000 Federer coins, then 50-franc coins (SEK 480) in gold, in May.

"Thank you Switzerland and the mint for the incredible honor and privilege," Federer writes on Twitter.
