Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane tied with his Portuguese counterpart Jose Mourinho in the number of matches as coach of the team, and the Royal match, which drew 2-2 against Paris St Germain in the Champions League football is the 178th match for the French coach.

Although Zidane is close to surpassing his Portuguese counterpart, Mourinho is outperforming 128 wins, 28 draws and 22 defeats, compared to 119 wins, 37 draws and the same number of losses.

Royal also outperformed Mourinho with 475 goals and 168 goals, 27 more than Zidane.

All Tottenham coach numbers are better than the current Real Madrid coach in all competitions, with Mourinho winning 76% of La Liga matches and 67% of the Champions League and domestic cup matches.

Zidane won 68% in La Liga, 64% in the Champions League and 50% in the Cup.

Zidane took charge of Real Madrid for the first time on January 4, 2016 and won three consecutive Champions League titles in two and a half seasons. After winning his last European title, Zidane left before returning last season to spend a second term at Real Madrid which saw a dramatic decline in results.
