About a month ago, UFC star Walt Harris, ranked eight in the world in heavyweight, announced that his 19-year-old stepdaughter Aniah Blanchard had disappeared without a trace.

The FBI was linked to the case, which also involved the entire MMA world, with several well-known names that offered large sums of money for information that could lead to an arrest.

Now, the Alabama Police Department announces that Aniah Blanchard has been found dead in a wooded area, according to AP News Agency. The case is now being investigated as a suspected murder.

"Aniah's passing is an unthinkable tragedy and the UFC wants to convey its deepest involvement to Walt and his family during this difficult time," the UFC writes in a press release.

Walt Harris decided in late October, when Blanchard disappeared, to withdraw from his upcoming big game against legendary Alistair Overeem, which should have taken place in Washington on December 7.
