Defender Max Taylor has joined Manchester United in the Europa League after 12 months of chemotherapy for the 19-year-old after testicular cancer.
The youngster from the youth academy, who returned to action for United under-23s last month, may make his debut on Thursday against Astana in Kazakhstan.
United have already secured a place in the knockout stages of the Europa League after three wins in four games.
"The situation I was at this time last year was that I was undergoing the first weeks of my chemotherapy," Taylor told the club's website.
"It doesn't matter how the atmosphere will be, but just going is great. It's a dream to become a player in United's first team since I kicked the ball."
