The first Spanish final in the history of the World Padel Tour (WPT) was resolved in favor of Paquito Navarro and Juan Lebrón. The number one pair in the international ranking won the Sao Paulo Open title after beating Javier Ruiz and Uri Botello (2-6, 6-3 and 6-2).

On the track installed in the Ginásio de Esportes do São Paulo Futebol Clube, Navarro and Lebrón came out champions of the first tournament in the history of the WPT based in Brazil. Thus, firm with their service both parties started the match, until in the fifth game they stepped forward Botello and Ruiz to get the first 'break'.

The Melilla and the Andalusian consolidated their advantage and broke again the serve of Navarro and Lebrón in the seventh game, then close the first sleeve with a resounding 2-6.

Fatigue weight

Everything changed thereafter, with much more successful favorites. An early 'break' marked the future of a set in which Botello and Ruiz accused the hit and accuracy of their opponents, who regained good feelings for a convincing 6-3.

Confirming this good dynamic, Navarro and Lebron started the last chapter again imposing their rhythm in each exchange. With two 'breaks' in the beginning and taking advantage of the fact that the fatigue made a dent in their opponents, they culminated the comeback with a 6-2 that certified their title.
