Last year, Leksandsbacken won Madeline Rolfe's college championship in the USA. So when President Trump welcomed the winners University and Wisconsin to the White House, Rolfes took the chance to travel home for a few days.

- I hesitated a little because it would be a long journey. But I do not regret it, said Madeline during the break after the first period of SVT's broadcast. That's what you tell your kids, and tea was definitely worth it, she said about her 45-hour trip over the past two days.

On the course, Rolfes didn't seem to notice much in the first period, until she averted an AIK free-to-finish:

- We came out well and had good speed. It was crucial, she said, exhaling.

Young goal scorer

Leksand made 1-0 early through young Nicole Hall, a few weeks ago she played in the TV puck. After dinner, she scored SDHL - again.

Then Wilma Johansson did 2-0 at the end of the first period.

In the second period, Leksand was close to going down to 3-0 when AIK had three expulsions on the rake. But at the end of the period, the reduction came to 2-1 Line Bialik Öien and the last period became nervous.

- It's nice to have that goal. We were badly beaten with three expulsions on the rake, said Bialik Öien, who eventually got to score after being one of the game's best players.

AIK was the better team in the third period, but when Leksand's Madeleine Hall got in 3-1, the match was won. Leksand's third straight victory.

- It was a somewhat strenuous goal, but all goals counted. It was good, said Madeleine Hall.

The best player of the match was Leksand's German goalkeeper Jule Flötgen.
