His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, crowned the first winners of the second edition of the Fujairah International Triathlon Championship, organized by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club in cooperation with the Fujairah Natural Resources Foundation, with the participation of 300 players from 30 countries. around the world.
His Highness praised the unlimited and continuous support given by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to the sports and youth sector, and the support provided by the wise leadership to various sports.
Sheikh Mohammed congratulated the winners of the tournament, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the organizers of the tournament and their efforts in organizing this important event and establishing it as a sporting event every year. His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah received the tournament shield in recognition of his continued support for the sport of triathlon.
The Fujairah International Triathlon Championship includes three phases in succession, starting with a swim of 1,500 meters, then driving bicycles for 40 kilometers, running for 10 kilometers, and organizing a similar event for women and children.
The event was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the UAE Federation for Body Building and Fitness, Salem Al Zahmi, Director of the Office of HH the Heir Apparent, a number of sports leaderships in the emirate and a large audience of triathlon fans.
