Östersunds FK was notified, due to the economic trips that ultimately led to Daniel Kindberg recently sentenced to three years in prison for financial crime, by the Swedish Football Association's licensing committee to the Disciplinary Board and the Representation Board.

But the Disciplinary Board found fairly quickly that the issue could not be considered, as the regulations state that the limitation period expires two months after a wrongdoing became known.

But now the rule changes. At yesterday's Supervisory Board meeting, it was decided that in the future it should be possible to prepare a notification six months from the date that a judgment gained legal force.
