David Åhman and Jonathan Hellvig today made their first scalp ever when they finished third on the world tour of beach volleyball in Doha, Qatar.
The talents were set against the Omani pair Nouh and Mazin in the bronze match and eventually won 2-1 in the set (22-24, 21-12, 18-16).
- This means very much. Bronze is a boost for self-confidence and motivation. It is a proof that we can and should be part of and be celebrated for medals at one-star world tour competitions in the future and that we should be able to go far even in two-star, ”says Åhman and Hellvig in a press release.
