Satomi Serizawa

Atsumi Serizawa is 20 years old from Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture. When I was in fifth grade, I lost my left foot due to a disease called osteosarcoma.

After the decision to hold the Tokyo Paralympic Games, I started aiming for participation, and I entered Nippon Sport Science University, which established a track and field club specializing in para-athletes.

In the long jump of the specialty, the skill to use the prosthetic leg has improved, and the record has been growing rapidly.

The goal is to win medals at the Tokyo Paralympics.

Maekawa Jun

Atsushi Maekawa is 21 years old from Tsu City, Mie Prefecture. When I was in the third year of junior high school, I cut my right leg in a traffic accident.

He won 4th place in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympics, which was his first long-running long jump, and won a silver medal at the World Championship.

After the Rio de Janeiro tournament, in order to strengthen the long jump in earnest, I am aiming to win a medal at the Tokyo Paralympic Games under the guidance of Kumiko Imura, the Japanese record holder of the female long jump who participated in the Beijing Olympics.
